The struggle is real my friends! Current situation is a teething baby that will not let me put her down. I never had this problem with Henry. In fact, I didn’t even know he was teething and boom we had teeth. I really thought Matilda would be the same way. Completely different child. We were up all night because her way of copping with this is apparently nursing. She started getting her first two teeth at 7 months and it wasn’t an issue, it was kind of like a Henry moment, where I looked and was like ah there are two teeth! Hence why I thought that she would be like him. But nothing is worse than knowing you have a baby that is uncomfortable and isn’t feeling their self, seriously not herself she is typically so happy. I suppose I should turn this into positive and savor the moments she is wanting to be held and nursed to sleep…but, real life is telling me I need some rest too. Time to go back to rocking a fussy baby and applying all the concealer I own under these eyes of mine.
